Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Technology Today News exists to give readers accurate, useful and independent coverage of technology. These standards apply to everything we publish.
Accuracy and sourcing
We base our reporting on primary sources whenever possible: official announcements, research papers, court and regulatory documents, security advisories and hands-on testing. We link to our sources so readers can verify them, and we clearly separate facts from analysis and opinion.
Original work
Our articles are written by our own team. We do not copy or lightly rewrite other publications. When another outlet breaks a story, we credit and link to it.
Use of AI tools
Writers may use software tools, including AI assistants, for tasks such as research support, transcription or proofreading. A human editor is responsible for every article, checks its facts and approves it before publication.
Independence and advertising
Advertising pays for the site, but advertisers do not influence our coverage. Ads are always labeled “Advertisement” and visually separated from articles. We do not accept payment for positive coverage.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and note significant corrections at the end of the article, with the date. To report an error, please use our contact page and choose “Correction request”.
Updates
News evolves. When we materially update an article with new information, we change its “Updated” date so readers know the story has changed.
Comments
Reader comments are moderated before they appear. We remove spam, personal attacks, hateful or explicit content and anything that breaks the law.
